Kimchi World, located in Insa-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul is a place for international visitors to learn more about Korean traditional food culture and make their own kimchi and tteokbokki. The 193.67㎡ (around 60 pyeong) Kimchi World consists of an Information Zone (depicting the history and health benefits of Kimchi), an Experience Zone (for kimchi making and other foods), and a Sales Zone.
At the Experience Zone, visitors can make kimchi and other Korean foods such as tteokbokki. Of course, visitors will also be able to enjoy eating their food after they finish making it. At the Sales Zone, healthy Korean foods such as Kimchi, sauce, dried seaweed, salted seafood, pickled vegetables, and rice wine are available at discounted prices. Free delivery to the Incheon Airport is available for purchases of 30,000won or more.
By recreating the traditional Buttumak (traditional oven) with a modern twist, Kimchi World provides international visitors a chance to feel the spirit of Korean culture.
